Safety

When organizing labor protection and safety measures at gas producing, processing enterprises and during its transportation, one should be guided by the current rules and regulations.

As the main measures for labor protection and safety in facilities, the following should be provided:

• complete sealing of the entire technological process within the field gathering, transportation and gas treatment;

• equipping process equipment with safety devices;

• selection of equipment based on the maximum possible pressure in it, and for equipment in open areas - taking into account heating due to solar radiation in the summer;

• equipment blocking and signaling in case of deviation from normal operating conditions of objects;

• mechanization of labor-intensive processes in the production of repair work on technological equipment.

To date, the protection of safety in the oil and gas industry is regulated by the following rules and regulations:

Order of the Head of the State Inspectorate of the Republic of Uzbekistan on supervision of safe work in industry, mining and the domestic sector “Sanoatkontekhnazorat” dated November 28, 2008 # 262 “On approval of safety rules for gas processing plants and industries”;

Order of the Head of the State Inspectorate of the Republic of Uzbekistan for supervision of safe work in industry, mining and the domestic sector “Sanoatkontekhnazorat” dated December 4, 2008 # 279 “On approval of safety requirements for drilling equipment for the oil and gas industry”.

Anti-corruption compliance

In order to ensure the fulfillment of the requirements of the Decree of the President Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 29, 2020 “On additional measures to improve the anti-corruption system in the Republic of Uzbekistan” # UP-6013 and Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 04.04.2020 “On priority measures to improve the financial stability of the oil and gas industry” # PP-4664, to further increase transparency in activities of “UzGasTrade” JSC created a compliance control service.



The Compliance Control Service regularly conducts research to assess corruption risks, monitor and control the effectiveness of anti-corruption procedures, as well as cases of corruption and misconduct of employees at all stages of the activities of “UzGasTrade” JSC.


If there is any information about illegal actions and or commission of corrupt actions from employees, middle managers, as well as authorized persons everyone can inform “UzGasTrade” JSC on the official website or by e-mail at compliance@uzgastrade.uz

Antimonopoly Compliance

In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 02, 2021 “On measures to implement the antimonopoly compliance system” # 114, in the structure of UzGasTrade JSC was established the Compliance Control Service and it entrusted with an antimonopoly compliance system, powers to ensure compliance with competition law, identify and prevent risks of their violation.


According to item 20, Annex 1 to the abovementioned Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, the report of the antimonopoly compliance system approved by a business entity to reduce the risks of violation of competition law shall be posted on its official website and submitted to the antimonopoly authority.



The Compliance Control Service of “UzGasTrade” JSC compiled an antimonopoly compliance report, based on the results of monitoring to reduce the risks of violation of competition law shall be posted on the official website of “UzGasTrade” JSC on a quarterly basis.

Information Security

Information Security is one of the most important areas of “UzGasTrade” JSC. In turn, information security means the protection of data and supporting infrastructure from any accidental or malicious impacts. Its main task is - balanced protection of data confidentiality, integrity and availability.

Currently, information security in the Company is provided in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 19, 2018 # UP-5349 “On measures to further improve the field of information technologies and communications”, the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 21, 2018 # PP-4024 “On measures to improve the system of control over the introduction of information technologies and communications, organization of their protection” and the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated October 5, 2020 
# UP-6079 “On the approval of strategy of the “Digital Uzbekistan-2030”  and measures for its effective implementation”.
